King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications:
In 2002 I am obtained Ph. D. in Metabolism of Neurotoxins., Biochemistry, School of Biochemistry, The University of Birmingham.
Teaching Experience:
- Biochemistry for under graduate (General Biochemistry, Biological Oxidation and
General Metabolism 1).
Research Interesting:
Metabolism of neurotoxin in brain tissue
Damage to cells in the central nervous system has effects which are potentially serious. since brain cell repair slowly if at all. Because neurons are very energy-demanding anything which reduces the supply of ATP will cause death in long term, this can occur when compounds which are themselves toxic, or which can be converted to neurotoxin, block normal metabolic pathways. Using neural cell culture.
The aim to determine the effects of some nerotoxin and its derivative on different area of the brain.

إنشاء و تأسيس الهيكل الإداري و الأكاديمي لكلية العلوم 1979م _ (1399 هـ)
إنشاء معامل كلية العلوم وتأسيسها عام 1979م ـ (1399هـ).
تم استكمال هذا العمل بعد العودة إلى أرض الوطن وإنشاء أربع معامل لمرحلة البكالوريوس عام 1990 ـ 1992م ( 1410 ـ 1412هـ).
تأسيس وإنشاء معمل واحد لمرحلة الماجستير1991.
المهام والنشاطات العلمية التخصيصية الأخرى خارج نطاق القسم:
الاشتراك في لجان دراسة الدكتوراه بنظام الإشراف المشترك عند بداية هذا المشروع عام 1992 ـ 1993م ، (1412 ـ 1413هـ) وكان ذلك بالتعاون مع سعادة الدكتور نبيه باعشن . وقد تم كتابة خطة كاملة لدراسة الدكتوراه عن طريق الأشراف المشترك وشملت الخطة المقترحة من قبل كلية العلوم قسم الطالبات المقررات الدراسية وكذلك المعامل الطلبية الخاصة بطالبات الكلية لجميع الأقسام و قد كان ذلك من صلاحياتها كوكيله للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي آنذاك.
الاشتراك في يوم المهنة بتقديم الخدمات التي تفيد و تتعلق للصحة العامة والاختبارات المختلفة المقدمة من قسم الكيمياء الحيوية للجمهور.

Research interest:
My primary interest is in Matrix molecular biology with an emphasis on the kidney and genetic disease. My PhD program has enabled me to develop skills in molecular biology, tissue culture, immunological technique in addition to a developing a thorough knowledge of Biochemistry. Excitingly this led to the opportunity to investigate protein-protein interaction using physical techniques including matrix assisted laser desorption ionisation-time of flight –mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). These techniques will prove particularly advantageous for my future career in research.
